Friends of North Mississippi State Hospital was organized to

*Improve the quality of life for patients
*Provide recognition for employees
*Promote the understanding of mental health
*Promote public interest in NMSH
*Encourage support for NMSH.

Our projects for our patients have included:

*Ping Pong Table
*Patient Eye Exam and Glasses
*Bus tickets for discharged patients
*Magazine subscriptions for patient units
*Postage for patient mail
*Recreation Equipment and Supplies
